Description
About Omnigel Spray
Omnigel Spray is used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving one’s ability to move and flex the joint. Osteoarthritis is a long-term musculoskeletal joint disorder that causes damage to the cartilage and surrounding tissues and is characterised by pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function.
Omnigel Spray contains diclofenac, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac and methyl salicylate work by lowering hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators, such as leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Omnigel Spray helps alleviate mild to moderate pain associated with musculoskeletal and joint conditions.
Omnigel Spray is only for external use. Use Omnigel Spray for as long as your doctor prescribes it for you based on your medical condition. You may sometimes experience common side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, and a burning sensation at the application site. These side effects do not require medical attention and will typically subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if you experience these side effects regularly.
Please do not use Omnigel Spray without a doctor’s advice if you have a skin reaction or irritation to any medicine. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all the medications you are taking to rule out any potential side effects. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Omnigel Spray unless suggested. Omnigel Spray is not recommended for children below 14 years, as safety and efficacy have not been established.

Key Benefits
Omnigel Spray is a combination of four drugs: Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, and Menthol. Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed oil exhibits an anti-inflammatory action that inhibits inflammatory mediators, such as leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also enhances the penetration of drugs. Together, Omnigel Spray helps alleviate mild to moderate pain associated with musculoskeletal and joint conditions.
